Warframe: The New War is out this year with playable Veso and Teshin - hesslockonamind

At TennoCon 2021 this weekend, Warframe developer Digital Extremes lifted the lid on the sexy The New War elaboration. It's the front real next-gen focused expanding upon, so it comes with an updated engine, and it's confirmed for release this twelvemonth. Justified better, few fan favourite characters will be playable first during the intense story quest.

Warframe: The New War has been teased as far back as TennoCon 2018, with hints and cinematics building out of the serial' Old Warfare. In the new report, as revealed in the trailer below, World's Cetus fortress and the Principal fleet lie in ruins after an attack past the Sentients – which players will have to fight together to defeat.

Exciting stuff for true, but while a lot of the story is under wraps Digital Extremes has unchangeable that Corpus Engineer Veso, Grineer Soldier Kahl-175, and Conclave master Teshin – who has in person been teasing the Sentients' arriver for a while now – will all be playable during The Unaccustomed Warfare's main story quests.

Beyond the story, the developer also confirmed numerous updates on the technical side. Alongside a graphical update to give-up the ghost with the PS5/Xbox Series X release, Warframe will also add cross-progression crosswise all platforms when The Late War launches – even along mobile, which is currently being developed. "Residential district is incredibly life-and-death to United States of America and opening up cross-play and sweep-save is just one and only of many more efforts we'll take on to bring more players together," confirms chief operating officer Sheldon Carter.

Another piece of music of good news – the Epic unshared Deceptive Tournament weapon compact is available again.

There's no word yet on an exact release date for the expansion this year, but require it to be fast drink down in the next couple of months.
